Our award winning range of hand-crafted bicycles are lovingly designed and assembled to order by a passionate team of experts in our boutique showroom and workshop.

Offering the ultimate bespoke service, and an unswerving commitment to perfection, each bike is as unique as the individuals that commission them.

About the role

As our brand continues to grow an exciting opportunity has arisen for a hardworking and mechanically minded Workshop Apprentice to join our team.
As workshop assistant, you will support our mechanic in ensuring the smooth running of our workshop and showroom.

About you

We are looking for a dynamic individual with a positive can-do attitude. An organised and structured approach, along with strong communication skills are essential in this role.

Your tasks and responsibilities

Assist the mechanic with building bike orders and preparing frames
Assist the mechanic with the general maintenance of our test fleet including setting up and cleaning test bikes
Take responsibility for ensuring a clean and tidy workshop and showroom
Assist the mechanic with incoming deliveries and stock management
Assist our content executive with preparing bikes for and assisting on photography shoots
Assist with the packing and posting of orders
Support the wider team as directed by co-owners with ad hoc tasks as and when required; this may also include attending industry events and shows.

Your knowledge and experience

To be successful in this role you should clearly demonstrate the following:

Essential:

Mechanically minded with a keen interest in bikes
Strong attention to detail
Time management skills
A positive, can do attitude
Ability to work as part of a team and take direction
Willingness to learn new skills with a view to progressing into a mechanic role

Desirable:

A passion for cycling
Experience of working for a premium/luxury brand
Customer service experience

Additional info

Core working hours are 9am – 5.30pm Monday to Friday.
The role is based at our Oakham showroom.
